Lemon Water

Ingredients:
Lemon
Water
 
Directions:
  1. Pour water in a glass, thermos, or other container
  2. Cut lemons in shapes and sizes you like (use to flavor your food, too)
  3. Squeeze about ½ lemon into glass
  4. Drop in water
  5. Enjoy!  Great way to start your day!  Drink a few glasses throughout you day.
Suggestions:
  • Help your stomach work more quickly and efficiently - drink water without ice, so your stomach can avoid spending time and energy getting cold water up to body temperature. 
  • Limit your water/liquid intake during meals to about one cup, so your stomach can make use of its enzymes most effectively .
  • Drink water throughout the day.  Notice the difference in the way your brain and body feel and your skin feels and looks when you’re hydrated.
