Expressive Arts Activity
Create and share: Use a simple meditation to connect to a word, value, quality, quote, verse or picture. After this quiet focus, draw, doodle and create your compassion circle to help you refocus on this word at work, school or home. Share your compassion circle with others if you wish.
Be mindful that self-compassion (being kind and forgiving with yourself) is always the place to start.
Examples of Meditations
Choose one of these simple meditations to try for 3-5 minutes before you doodle or draw your circle.
You can also draw a circle without any words or write a word in fanciful design – use patterns and color.
